There's a chance my computer is going to CA (without me) for work this weekend so I figured I'd post these today instead of tomorrow for the full week as I'd planned; Wed's look has me wearing my first statement necklace ever (woo). Just realized I didn't take a close up of my new peacock feather pendant I'm wearing today, so I'll do that next time I wear it. Comments, critiques, thoughts and questions welcome.

I like your outfits, Aida :). They're fun and comfy with an edge. Love your accessories, if you don't mind sharing, where do you get your jewelry? The pendant looks lovely!

I make a lot of my jewelry (ex. the turquoise earrings in #1), but I just bought a bunch of pendants (ex. #2, #4) and a couple statement necklaces (ex. #3) from Forever 21 to try them out until I can get vintage pieces or make my own (my true jewelry loves). I'd be happy to hunt down and link those if anyone is interested in those particular pieces. I also get a lot of my bangles from thrift shops (like the one in #1).

I like outfit # 2 nd #4 - I am biased towards comfy casual outfits! Love your boots in # 1 and # 2. Can you share where you got them?

Thanks ladies!
The tall boots are by Madden Girl, if it's not this exact boot this one is awfully close; mine are in tan (purchased last fall):

Is that a peacock feather necklace in #4? I love it!
BTW, I really love your screen name! Is that your real name or an alias? how do you pronounce it? Is "i" long like in the opera or short like Isla? -

Thank you! It is indeed a peacock feather necklace. Aida is my real name, pronounced with the long "i" like the opera, which I was named after :)

I love your looks. We are always talking about age apropriate dressing when refering to older women but I think you manage to dress in a very chic way but still with a young vibe to it(#3 is a good example for me).
Great jewelery. -

Great artistic photos and great graphic styles. You have a bold and funky style. You look fab in black, white and especially bright red with your coloring.

I love your style - edgy, casual and artistic. These are great photos - who takes them for you????

I love the last two looks--very '70s-inspired! I agree about the red on you--it looks wonderful.

Thanks all!! I very much appreciate the color comments; I can't seem to narrow down my "strong colors", though I've tried nearly all of them. I guess I should invest in more red (yay!)! Also appreciate the comments on the necklaces, I'm a bit new to this style so it's nice to know I'm on the right track.
Marley - I'm like you with the photos, it's my camera's self timer with the camera sitting on the hot tub outside, then I run into frame :)

LOVE! Especially number 4! You look like so much fun! I wish you were in my grad school class so we could hang out!

MaryK - I need an "Appreciate this reply for its..." -> "Blush induction" :)
#4 seems to be a clear favorite, went over real well with my husband too! (rare) I shall be sure to look for more ways to wear this red sweater.
Glad to hear more pro red comments; I have a couple orange tops I don't wear that I've been debating over-dying to red but wasn't certain, so now I know I should do it!

Aida - I agree! You have a great funky vibe!
(I'm slightly confused by Celia's comment, though. You look young to me!)

I'm 29, but I took it to mean that she felt that the looks could be worn or easily adapted to someone older if they were more conservative than me (e.g. I'm more conservative in showing legs over showing décolletage/arms). Am I close?
