Just getting around to editing and posting outfit photos, here's some outfits from the 18th (#1), 19th (#2) both worn to work; 22nd (#3) and 23rd (#4) both worn out in the snow when it was a nippy 19F. I learned my wardrobe is a bit understaffed for weather quite that cold, but we don't get it often so I managed just fine. Was still feeling warm after coming back from Maui (still editing those outfit photos) so I was feeling the browns, but when the temperatures plummeted it was back to black, apparently. Comments, critiques, thoughts and questions welcome.

After seeing MaryK's lovely turquoise patent heels I ordered a pair for myself but unfortunately they are a half size too large (and sold out in the half size down, boo). They fit my feet and do not slide off, but the back sticks out about a quarter inch (my heels always fit snugly against the back of my feet). And I am fairly sure they won't stretch beyond the size they are now as the patent is fairly stiff. I'm currently at work so I can't get any photos but if it's necessary I can do so at home.

Do you gals have any advice on how I can make these fit so the back is snug or should I just return them? *crossing fingers!*

What I wore yesterday (work, then out for tacos with friends) and today (work, then monthly informal gathering for Type folk in Seattle); today's pants are brown corduroy, though it's hard to tell from the photo. Wanted to get these up before going out of town, I'm curious about what you all think of the scarf knotted as a bow :) Comments, critiques, thoughts and questions welcome. On Wednesday my husband and I are off to Maui for a week for our 5 year anniversary. I wanted to run my packing list by you guys to see if you can spot any holes. I generally pack pretty light, but this list feels very large for me. The weather is supposed to be around 83F daytime and 65F nighttime, with a small chance of scattered showers for a couple days. The jeans and leather jacket are a must as we'll probably be renting a motorcycle for a day or two; the maxi is for a nice dinner on our actual anniversary. The rest is up for grabs though; I didn't include swimwear or accessories below, tips welcome.

BOTTOMS:
1 jean, 2 skirts (white gauze, tan floral), 1 shorts (olive)

TOPS:
1 tank (gray or pink tissue), 2 camisoles (red polka dot, taupe), 1 tee (white/navy striped)

DRESSES:
1 dress (black floral maxi)

JACKETS:
1 leather (brown), 2 cardigans (brown, aqua)

SHOES:
2 sandals (white, bronze), 1 flat (silver sequin)

Friday, Saturday. Had < 5 min to dress Friday, and while the look is simple I must say having a wardrobe with well-fitting pieces makes these types of quick outfits far more successful than how they used to turn out. Saturday's was worn out to Shorties (pinball bar) with my husband, sister, and her boyfriend. Comments, critiques, thoughts and questions welcome. Hope you all had a great weekend!

There's a chance my computer is going to CA (without me) for work this weekend so I figured I'd post these today instead of tomorrow for the full week as I'd planned; Wed's look has me wearing my first statement necklace ever (woo). Just realized I didn't take a close up of my new peacock feather pendant I'm wearing today, so I'll do that next time I wear it. Comments, critiques, thoughts and questions welcome.

I have a bunch of camisoles that I don't wear because they have a shelf bra built in. While I'm an OK size for these to be functional (though I always wear a bra underneath which makes some of them less functional), they're pretty annoying to me. Has anyone had any success cutting those out? I have a feeling I'd wear my camis a LOT more without that extra bit of fabric.

But since I finally decided to join YLF after several weeks of quiet stalking, and have been giving advice, I figured it only fair that I show myself :) Here's what I wore over the week; I think my style is far more casual than most of you here.
