WIW 09.30 [repeated bottom half]

This is what I was originally going to wear yesterday before changing to the Anthro inspired outfit (I actually feel a bit happier in this version, more patterns!). I almost never wear the same shoes two days in a row, let alone an entire bottom half. But I love the outfit too much to pass up the opportunity to wear while the weather is cooperating -- it's entirely likely that the chance won't come again and I know I'll be sad to have missed it otherwise. No one even batted an eye, of course ;)

Sweater is from NAS, finally getting a chance to wear it. I bought it planning to pair with white and light gray (the stripes' colors) along with the occasional black. However for now, before the truly gloomy weather arrives, I'll be wearing with taupe, rust, and cognac. Finished with blush sparkly earrings to add a touch of glam and cherry-pink lip gloss for some color depth.

  Newer: boots, sweater, earrings
  Older: shorts, clutch, sunnies

I especially love it with the spotty clutch thrown in.

Love this! I like this version better than yesterday's. Olive! Leopard! Stripes!

Wow, a very organic mix of colors.  I would not have thought rose and mossy green to work so well, but it totally does.  Patterns do seem right for you, but I think you made up for it in mixed textures with the prior outfit.  Love this one though.

Interesting color combination, I would never guessed it worked. I think you make it work.

Great sweater! Changes the whole vibe of the bottom half.

Nice, Aida! Your creative fab outfits never end. Love the combo of colors and pattern mixing. Well done!

Ah, yes, the stripes make this outfit look totally you. I love the colors together, too.

That's a lovely sweater, Aida. It makes you forget that your bottom half is repeated! I still love these cool shorts and slouchy boots very much! YLF!

Such a cool outfit! You look really great! Love the colours and the combination of all pieces.

I just love your shorts outfits! The sweater changes up the vibe nicely and it's fab with the spotted clutch. Your attention to detail with the rosy-toned glasses to pick up on your shorts colour is awesome as usual.

The sweater is lovely on you and new boots look fab with shorts.

Those are the best shorts.  I really like this outfit too - it's so different from the first one that it doesn't have a repeat vibe.  This odd colour palette is really, really attractive - you are giving me inspiration for experimentation , as usual :)

This is really lovely! I think one of Angie's color combinations involved olive and blush; this reminds me of that. A really good look, especially for in-between days. And the watch is beautiful.

Super Cute Ladylike Puss in Boots. The rose gold is gorgeous with this palette.

Good to see those long locks again, Aida. I was worried.

Thanks very much ladies! I was a little surprised to hear that this color combo felt unusual; it feels very standard for those with "Autumn" coloring. Though thinking on it, I suppose these shades aren't necessarily favored by many (which explains why I have such a hard time finding them!).

Kari, you're right that the blush/teal version had a nice texture mix. I think that's why I was happy wearing it, even though it was all solid colors.

Jaime and Lisa, the vibe is quite different isn't it! I think leaving the shorts' ties out here helps with that (I tucked them away in the blush/teal version).

Ginger, this post perhaps? I used to enjoy pairing my blush moto with olive skinnies, but no longer have any. Have recently ordered some olive joggers, which could be a fun pairing if they work out. Thanks for the reminder!

Angie, hah I like Ladylike Puss In Boots, so swashbuckling ^^
