WIW 05.21-24 including birthday outfit and a new toy!

Weekend and early part of the week outfits.

  1. Saturday. We got a boat!! My husband has wanted a boat as long as I've known him. Now we just need some warm weather...
  2. Sunday, worn to my folks' for birthday lunch then over to a friend's to catch up on some TV. My husband actually came up with this denim-on-denimish outfit (minus the necklace), how fashion forward of him :) He also took the photos, hence the silliness. New necklace, doubled up for Maximum Beaded Impact.
  3. Monday, worn to work then out for tacos. Still loving this white blazer, and am happy to have it because now I can make my darker items that I haven't been wearing more springy looking!
  4. Tuesday (today), day off and birthday! Feeling sassy, so enjoy the sassy poses ;) Having friends over to eat seafood and watch hockey in the evening (not-so-secretly wearing Vancouver's colors!). This necklace is a small collection of my mom's charms that she gifted me for my birthday, including a pair of zodiac charms with hers and my dad's signs from when they were my age (so cute!).
  5. Because I'm in a good mood, a bonus shot of me being myself.... *erhm* goofy when my husband suggested offhand that I pose crane-kick style while he was taking my photos on Saturday ^^

    Wow, you make a very stylish "hood ornament" for that sleek craft there! Beautiful!

    Love the other outfits as well, especially those amazing flared jeans! And your mom's birthday gift to you is both wonderfully sentimental and exactly on trend! Can't beat that, huh?

    Fun boat!! All your outfits look fabulous. I might possibly prefer #2 tucked or semi-tucked...which you do to perfection! I'm really loving you in that white blazer :) Pretty necklaces too. I love intricate charms like those.

    Your action shots are cracking me up! Enjoy that boat. I had one once . . . it's easier to have a friend with a boat ha ha ha. As for the outfits, I really like the flowing cardi in #4.

    Nice new boat! You look great on it too! Love the peeking color out of the shirt with the colored shoes for the denim on denim outfit. And really love the flared jeans on you. Extra poses, thanks for making me smile!

    I like the outfit your hubby chose and love the way you fashioned it with the necklace.

    Celia - I don't have much in this shade of green (just this cardigan I think), because I'd thought it wasn't a flattering color for me. But after trying it on I found it looks good so I'm hoping to get more of it!

    Patty - No street bikes for me, though I would like to get a dirt bike!

    Amy - The chambray top is from Target, this one here. Looks like only larger sizes left online but I found mine at the Everett store although that page says online only :\

    Thanks Heather :D Hmmmm actually I do need to update my swim wear, "good" thing it's warming up slowly hehe. Set on the flippy floppies though!
