For the second day of the challenge, I chose the red poppies (#3).

This was an extra casual day -- mostly at home doing chores, watching tv, and also a quick bite out. My initial thought was to do a column of gray (since I don't really wear olive) with a red chunky knit hat to mimic the vibrant color of the flowers atop the tall muted stems. But after scouring the house I couldn't find my hat! We recently re-did our closet and I still don't have everything sorted and put away, so hopefully it'll turn up as I finish with that. So I shortened the gray column to just boots/jeans and instead of the hat chose a vibrant red sweater. Long silver earrings for a little added vertical integrity, and leo clutch because I just liked how it looked :) Simple and easy peasy!
