Aida ~

Sheath dresses

I bit the bullet and purchased 2 sheath dresses to try out. I have not owned one before, so hopefully these will be good fits. Both are petite, and both fill holes in my very, very sad dressy capsule. I'll definitely post photos once I get them unless they end up with an obviously horrible fit, but for now, I'd love to hear your thoughts on these.

    Nice picks -can`t wait for the pictures.
    I did not wear sheath dresses until this summer at all - always thought they are not flattering on me. Now I own several and love them! Hopefully you will love yours too.

    Thanks Joy, Reneed, and Sveta! I've wanted a black lace over nude dress like this since spring of last year, and Sveta I was inspired by your sheath looks to finally try one :)

    ooh they're both so sweet.

    I wore my lace dress out - it got turned into a skirt last year. So I can foresee you wearing it quite a bit. I am also a big sucker for houndstooth.

    Both look great. I am slowly building my casual dress capsule. I have 1! My confidence is building slowly! lol Hope they fit and look forward to pics.
