I was delighted to come home after a long day at work and find a package from the one and only MaryK! Inside was an awesome bright red-orange button-up shirt and 2 pairs of fancy nude microfishnets. I was so excited I took photos right away without styling or collaging :D One step closer to acquiring Mary's fab wardrobe, mwahahahah! *erhm*

Fantastic, I have a bright scarlet top not unlike that one. I have been wearing it to work, I think I might try it with my white jeans for the weekends.

Thanks for the lovely comments ladies, glad you all like the top as much as I do! I'd never have even tried on this shirt if I saw it at the store because of the bust detail (shows you what I know!) so that's a pleasant surprise for me. The color is like a BRIGHT red-orange rather than the tomato red I said (fixed that), I love it :D I didn't even realize that it looks styled the way I posted it, just swapped tops with what I had on yesterday. *notes to self that bright red-orange and white work well together....*
EDIT: The sandals are these here from Target. They're quite comfortable!

Laurel, I'm somewhere between Deep Autumn and Deep Winter; at the brunch I asked Angie's opinion on my coloring and she said warmer skin tones but that I wear cool colors well (I think hehe). I seem to be able to wear colors from both palettes, except those on the extremes: the iciest winter non-neutral colors and the earthiest autumn non-neutral colors don't really work for me. I think you're a Deep Winter? If so, this particular shade may be too warm but if you found one that was more rust colored that might work.
