A string of super casual looks.

  1. Worn to work. Bit of a lazy outfit but comfy, which was good because I ended up at work until 1am (14 hours, boo).
  2. Worn to work then out for dinner. Wanted to wear something that my husband would like for date night :)
  3. Worn on Saturday to get sandwiches, then had some friends over for dinner, bottling beer, and TV.
  4. Worn on Sunday to run some errands, then came home and did some organizing; rare flats appearance. Busted out some spring polish, though it's a bit early (also early to wear flats with no socks, for that matter).

Ask Angie: GAP L&L stretching

I know you suggested sizing up for the GAP Long and Lean jeans. I plan to pick up a pair of the light wash tomorrow and wanted to know if you still recommend sizing up. For me, a 2 is a snug fit, a 4 fits well but verging on being a little big due to recent/ongoing weight loss, so a 6 would be the size up. Did yours stretch out a full size, the way all the sales associates keep telling me that they do? In terms of how they fit right off the rack, I like how the 4 looks and would be fine with a bit of stretch for it, but if the 6s really do stretch out a full size this would be far too large. Thanks very much!

WIW 02.28-03.02

Started shifting my wake-up time in hopes of ultimately getting up early enough to have my husband take outfit photos :) All of these were worn to work.

  1. Some spring-y colors, as our snow all melted away. I don't wear pink nor yellow often.
  2. This is an "I had to get up early to go to the dentist and get 2 crowns and then go to work" outfit. The scarf was meant for the outerwear, but I kind of liked it with the sweater so I just left it on. Now that it's less early and the novocaine has worn off I think it would pair better with a black top so it's truly high contrast.
  3. Wanted to pair red+camel, and these pants are the closest to camel I've got. I rather like the combo; loved the pants with the black+navy for the outerwear. (EDIT: I promise these are PPL, but I had a knee brace on my right leg that kept making the pant hike up during photos.)
